“ 50s style cafe restaurants that serve good old-fashioned comfort food are a dying breed. I am pleased to report that Cadence is the flag-bearer for this style of restaurant. I had never been here until quite recently. When I entered, I found a large dining area with a walk-up counter in the middle to place my order. The staff that man the counter are quite friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They guide you through the ordering process so smoothly. The Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich was HUMONGOUS! With so many ways to customize it to your liking it is delicious too! I looked at it at first and wondered how I was going to be able to bite it! That is a refreshing change from other establishments whereby I wonder how I am going to fill myself up! The Cafe Mocha was amazing too. I loved the whipped cream topping. It makes for a lovely treat. I see that they also serve breakfast here too. I will have to come back and try that next time. ”
“ I visited Cadence coffee for Sunday brunch and I enjoyed their American diner style atmosphere and delicious food! I had breakfast burrito, you can choose what to go into tortilla, I chose sausage and Swiss cheese. It was a fat burrito with a lot of sauteed veggies, it was delicious! My one complain was that they had daily special benny, but they were out of sauce. we visited around 1:30 so it was past the peak brunch time but if they put something on special, they should not run out or servers should be notified before customer orders. We ended up getting refund but we wish we knew it beforehand. I also had tomato basil soup with garlic toast, the toast was very good, the soup was ok. I also tried cookies and brownies, they were homemade style, cookies were thick! Coffee was delicious, drip coffee had good note, not weak or burnt and I enjoyed it a lot! Price was reasonable and service was nice and friendly, I’d love to come hangout if I lived in the neighborhood! ”

“ Came on Father's Day for brunch and only had to wait 5-minutes to be seated (make sure you go to the front and get on their list). Due to limited staff, you'll need to also order at the front too. Food was reasonable priced and good. Sausages were extremely salty and didn't touch the water since the cups smelled funky. Overall, good experience and might resort to take-out next time. ”

“ Coffee, Breakfast, Sandwiches and Burgers spot on Bowness. Driven by this place many times but never went in. A friend suggested this place as she lives in Bowness. Ordered a London Fog and a Clubhouse Sandwich. Portion size was good and the clubhouse came with potatoes on the side. It's a nice quiet neighborhood feel atmosphere and the clubhouse was good ”
